I'm a Registered Nurse with an
Advanced Foot Care Certificate.
After spending time working in a
Cardiac Unit, I realized that I wasn't happy and was looking for
something different. I really wanted an evironment where I could truly
spend the time I needed to understand and help. I have been a runner for
many years. During that time, I have struggled with many different foot
ailments, so I know first hand how debilitating foot problems can really
be. I am lucky enough to be able to combine my love for helping others,
and my understanding of the effects of foot problems on your day to day
life, to help others that are struggling with feet ailments. Helping
people has always been my passion. I spent ten years as a Paramedic,
then went on to becoming a Registered Nurse, and now my goal is to
continue to learn and grow as a foot care nurse, continuing to add
services so I can help more people, in more ways.
When I'm not helping people, I love to spend my time with my family and dog, reading, hiking, cooking and fostering (dogs).
I'm in good standing with the
College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and I have insurance through the Registered
Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO).
